Longevity Baseline Evaluation® |
The evaluation process
includes the following:
1. 30-page medical and symptom history form including medications,
nutrition, vitamin, mineral, and supplements history and potential
review of past medical records
2. Complete blood panel testing of more than 40 markers, urine testing,
and heavy metal screen
3. Depending upon a patient’s medical history and age, one or more of
the following tests may be recommended:

Body CT scan (including heart “coronary”
calcium score)

Bone density DEXA scan including body
composition (fat analysis)
-
Separate body composition assessment
(fat/muscle analysis)
-
Carotid (neck) artery ultrasound
-
Computerized neurocognitive (brain function)
assessment

H-scan age assessment
-
Disease risk profile assessment
-
Cholesterol sub-type analysis (fractionation
of HDL and LDL, others)
-
Fatty acid (omega 3, 6, 9) blood assessment
-
Anti-oxidant and vitamin/mineral blood
assessment

‘Nutrigenomics’ assessment
-
Body Toxicology assessment
-
Allergy assessment
4. Physical examination
5. Strength, stamina, range-of-motion, and agility assessment
6. 2 to 2½-hour face-to-face medical interview with Dr. Bartnof to review
information and results from items 1-5 above. This will include a complete
interpretation and assessment of all results and will culminate in
recommendations for your individualized Longevity and Vitality Program®,
which includes:

Longevity and Vitality Plan®,
including medications (prescriptive and non-prescriptive), vitamins/
minerals/ trace elements/ supplements
-
Healthspan Nutrition Plan®
-
Vitality Movement Plan®
(aerobics, exercise, agility, other)
-
Lifestyle Risk Reduction Plan®
-
Stress Management Plan®
7. Each patient receives a personalized notebook
that includes specifics about his/her Longevity Baseline Evaluation®
and Longevity and Vitality Program®.
The notebook will have each of the 5 Plans listed in number 6 above.
After the Baseline Evaluation, those patients who choose to enter into the
Longevity and Vitality Program®
will have regular follow-up communication and ongoing assessments to monitor
progress and to optimize their healthspan results. Medical services are
provided at California Longevity And Vitality Medical Institute®
in San Francisco, California. Every Longevity Baseline Evaluation®
and Longevity Annual Assessment®
is performed in San Francisco, while most other follow-up is by telephone or
(when preferred) on the Internet.
The Longevity Baseline Evaluation®,
Longevity and Vitality Program®
and Longevity Annual Assessment®
represent a complete package to effectively manage the aging process
medically, and to optimize healthspan and longevity.
